Corporate Governance Review 2011: Listed companies make progress in applying corporate governance regulation

Listed companies obtain a much better score on corporate governance compared to last year. The review of 2010 annual reports from audit and consulting organisation Grant Thornton shows that 118 companies obtain an average score of 87% compared to 77% last year. Private Equity Report 2011: A force for growth

Based on a global survey with private equity professionals executed during the fall of 2011, Grant Thornton published in November a report with the most important trends and challenges of the sector. Whereas in the past the sector was often criticised with lack of transparency and too much emphasis on financial engineering, the report now shows the importancy of the secor in realising the growth potential and the continuous professionalisation of companies.
