In order to develop our GMS department for our Tax & Legal team, we are looking for a hands on and experienced coordinator for legal and tax advice and projects concerning international employment and salary packages, an ambassador who also puts our department (Brussels / Antwerp) on the map within the international network.


You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where you will have the opportunity to combine your knowledge in the field of labour and social law and taxation and to apply it in practice in complex, often international cases..

  • You deal with files in the context of Global Mobility and, by extension, Compensation & Benefits (advice on optimisation of salary packages, legal underpinning, tax and legal advice on international employment and implementation through coordination / supervision of payroll, share and pension schemes, etc.);
  • You will advise the HR or financial managers of (often internationally active) companies and ensure preferential treatment of their top executives;
  • You supervise the practical implementation of the aforementioned projects and advice, together with internal and external experts;
  • You are also the direct point of contact in Belgium for colleagues from the Grant Thornton network worldwide, with whom you build our international services;
  • You will be responsible for the further development and organisational management of the GMS department in Belgium, including all required activities of office organisation, customer contacts, marketing, targeting, attracting new customers and the recruitment of additional employees.


  • You have a Master's degree in Law, Applied Economic Sciences, Commercial Engineering or Commercial Sciences and have the necessary legal / tax experience in house;
  • You have at least 8 years of experience in an advisory role and enjoy delivering comprehensive and practically workable GMS services, in advice and working documents;
  • You have a very good knowledge of Dutch, English and French;
  • You have a critical and analytical mind;
  • You are a positive team player and want to give a boost to the development of our Global Mobility Services department.
