Lab du hockey féminin supported by Grant Thornton

Empowering women in leadership

On 30 November, Grant Thornton proudly partnered with Hockey Belgium to host the Lab du hockey féminin, a co-creation event designed to tackle a shared challenge: the underrepresentation of women in leadership roles, both in business and in hockey.

This unique initiative brought together 100 hockey club leaders and representatives from the LFH (Ligue Francophone de Hockey) to work together to develop practical, club-specific solutions aimed at increasing female representation in leadership positions within the hockey community.

The event featured motivational talks, including a powerful keynote by Tax Partner, Nadia Clinckspoor. She shared her personal journey and vision for gender equality in leadership, both in the worlds of hockey and business, and highlighting the vital role Grant Thornton plays in driving inclusion.

Following these inspiring insights, participants engaged in interactive workshops focused on coaching and actionable steps to promote women’s hockey within the clubs.
