Job description

As a member of the accountancy staff, you are involved in keeping the books of various companies, at the office or on site with clients. Your tasks package includes inputting all accounting documents, preparing VAT returns, helping to draw up financial statements and preparing tax returns.

As you work, you are surrounded by experienced colleagues. Thanks to adequate job rotation, your tasks vary and you get to know various sectors. You build up experience in a wide range of matters. As you grow in the job, you will be given more responsibility.

Profile

• You have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy-Taxation, a Master’s degree in Applied Economic Studies, Business Administration (option Accountancy & Auditing) or a Master’s degree in Commercial Sciences (option Accountancy & Taxation).
• You are a school-leaver or you have initial experience in an accountancy firm.
• You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and a good spoken and written knowledge of French and English.
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and you always strive to provide good customer service by adopting a results- and solutions-oriented approach.
• You have a passion for figures and are eager for knowledge.
• You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting packages such as Expert–M Plus is a plus.
• You are able to work accurately and methodically.
• You have the ability to learn quickly with a view to further development (IAB internship).
• You are able to communicate well in your relations with clients and colleagues.
