Job description

As Senior Auditor, you work for both small Belgian and major international companies. You detect operating weaknesses and chart financial or accounting risks.

You carry out the tasks of a Senior Auditor. These include drawing up the audit schedule and establishing the control procedures. You are versed in producing financial statements, undertaking due diligence investigations, preparing periodic financial reports, etc.

But where you really shine is in guiding and coaching junior auditors. Grant Thornton Belgium plans to grow by 30% this year. This means that an ADDITIONAL 25 auditors are being recruited. Many of these are being reached via two campus events. But these juniors need guidance.

So we are looking for a Senior Auditor who aims to move on to become manager of an audit team in the short term.

Profile

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy – Taxation or a Master’s degree with this specialisation.
• You have experience as an auditor.
• You speak fluent Dutch and English.
• You are ambitious.
